Pensive Ponderings

Reflections on things that matter.

I see the world and it is beautiful

dawn

Today, I see the world and it is beautiful.

The colors are deep and rich.

The textures are interesting and divine.

The possibilities are real.

The now is good.

The tomorrow is exciting.

Yesterday, I saw the world and it was scary.

The colors were dim and dark.

The textures were flat or sharp.

The possibilities were made of plastic.

The now was hell.

The tomorrow was menacing.

What is the difference between Yesterday and Today?

Who resurrected the colors?

What corrected the textures?

When did the possibilities acquire life?

Where is the torment in each second?

Why do I no longer fear tomorrow?

Whence came the light?

And will it stay?

Is this dawn or lightning?

No. It is the light of day.
